It's the first place we go b/c we are so desperate for comfort...which only He can give. And we are so full of pain, but in resting in Him, the pain is eased, not removed, just eased... I can't help but relate it to my own life as a Mother. When my children hurt, or are sick, or simply tired, they crawl up in my lap, or ask to be held. There they find rest as I hold them close and whisper in their ears that it's all going to be okay. It's the same with us...His children.
