sometimes i have no idea what to write. i saw this idea on another blog. maybe you will learn a few things about me that you do not yet know. maybe you will also be inspired to do it yourself.
for today:
outside my window… is sun and blue skies… it’s about 7:30. I see cars leaving taking kids to school.
i am thinking…about my plans for the day. i’m finishing the playroom and getting the house ready for family and my girl’s 1 year birthday party.
i am thankful for… my kids. my husband. my full life that is pure blessing from the Lord.
from the learning rooms… i am working on listening to the Lord. it’s something that has to be practiced! and i am working on trying to figure out how to best parent my middle child.
from the kitchen… it’s a school morning- so whole grain lego waffles for the kiddos! coffee is in order for me!!
i am wearing… still in jammies at 7:30. the joys of being a stay at home mom!
i am creating… right now i am making paper chains to hang from the ceiling of the kids’ playroom! it’s sure to be cute! i’ll post pics when i finish.
i am going… to be busy! i have a busy weekend ahead, full of fun & family!
i am reading… ephesians.
i am hoping… for a better night sleep tonight! i have 3 rough sleep nights!
i am hearing… lego creations being built, josiah preparing for school, hubby asking me where things are that he hasn’t seen in a year and music. thank God for music! and the sound of karis sleeping on the monitor.
around the house… i have been organizing this week. things are feeling much better! and painting! i have been feeling the need to get my house in order and finish projects.
one of my favorite things… the hugs and kisses of my kids. they are priceless.
a few plans for the rest of the week: painting. then getting sheets on guest bed. house ready for family. and then baking for my 1 year old birthday party!! it’s going to be a great weekend! oh and our first community group in Monroe is tonight! should be fun!
It is neat because you are describing me exactly, especially the how to be the best parent to my middle child . I am still in my pj”s and i am painting and getting things in order and organized. This is so good!!! Have a wonderful day and a fun weekend!!
