I don’t know if it’s pregnancy or what, but I really want to make stuff and get stuff done!  Last night I painted our entry off the garage.  This week I am going to turn it into an organization center for our family.  My oldest is starting kindergarten in 4 weeks and I know things are going to get hectic.  So now is the time to create peace!  Also, I really want to learn to applique and eventually embroider.  So, today I am doing my first applique on some cute little onsies!!  I am so excited.  I will post pictures tomorrow- for good or bad!  It’s going to be fun!!!

I do believe that creativity is from the Lord.  So, I embrace it.  I ask for it.  It’s really fun when you get those creative thoughts- they don’t always come.  So I try to run with it when I get them.  Just like in decorating the house- I have a limited budget.  So it really takes some creative thought to make it nice and pretty and look like you have money to decorate!

Also, creativity helps you in being a mom!  Things get mundane.  Kids need stimulation- heck, I need stimulation.  So, I praise the Lord for creativity with my kids!  I pray that they too will be creative and that they will enjoy the creativity of the Lord.  He’s an amazing example of creativity.  Just look around.  Look at all the colors of flowers, leaves in the fall, smells, tastes, faces.  It just isn’t a boring place to live!

I love that we are all created differently.  We all bring something to the big table of life.  I enjoy my friends & family and how different we all are.  I learn from them & am encouraged by them.  I believe that is how He wants it to be.
